EA ACCESS FAQ's (with information we know until today)
1- What is EA Access? EA Access is a new app or program created by EA exclusively for the Xbox One that will let or allow you to play hand picked games (EA chooses them) for a monthly or yearly fee.
2- How does EA Access work? EA Access kinda works as a netflix. You pay a $4.99 monthly fee or a $29.99 yearly fee to access the games inside the "Vault". UK users: £3.99 per month and £19.99 per year. Euro is €3.99 and €24.99 respectively.
3- What is the "vault"? The "Vault" will be the database or catalog of games that EA will include for your EA Access membership.
4- Ok, so I got the 1 month membership, I downloaded my games and I will cancel my membership at the end of the month, do I get to keep them? No, the games will only work while you are subscribed or an active member of the EA Access Program. You are pretty much "renting" them for an indefinite time (until you cancel your membership).
5- Will EA remove games from the vault? The official word right now, is that they won't be removing any games at the moment. If they do, they will let us know before they do it.
6- Ok, i'm loving this, how do I get in? EA Access is currently on a closed beta. Some of us, who are members of the Xbox Preview Program, got randomly selected and a key was sent to us via an xbox live message.
7- Can I use my Xbox Live Currency to pay for EA Access? No, you can't. You can only use a credit card, debit card or paypal. (GameStop will sell the memberships too)
8- When will the EA Access App be available to all members? We have no idea.
9- When will EA add more games and which ones will they add? No official word on this yet but they will probably be old version of games or games that will become old soon like the current ones on the vault.
10- Do I need Xbox Live Gold to use EA access and play games?No. But if you want to play multiplayer, you will need a Gold subscription.
11- Can I use "Game Sharing" for EA Access? Yes. It works just like any other app or game.
12- Will I get something else by becoming a member of EA Access? EA Access members also have the opportunity to try new games five days before the release date, and enjoy 10% discounts on EA digital download purchases, including full games, downloadable content and in-game currency. (NOTE: The discounts do not stack with other deals like DotW etc.)
13- I'm part of the preview program and didn't got a code! Not everyone on the preview program received one, not sure why, but maybe because it is a closed beta.
14- Can I get an invite for the preview program so I can access EA Access? sigh...
